How does a teacher evaluate a quiz or composition in French or any language according to the competencies?

Use these evaluation rubrics to identify weak areas for students that seem to consistently get by with passing grades and therefore think that they are fine, but still have fundamental areas that need lots of work. 

Change left side categories in both grids according to the assignment/language.

MASTERY of concept or activity and possibly you go beyond.

WELL DONE with high level of understanding. You have some errors but you show that you understand.

BASIC understanding. You are able to perform but need to come for help to improve your skill.

NOT THERE YET You show little evidence of understanding this basic concept. You need to come for help to learn what to do asap.
