50 Games & Activities for the World Language Classroom

The NHAWLT board is busy at work planning a dynamic and celebratory 50th Annual NHAWLT Conference and we need your help! We are putting together a book of classroom games and activities specific to a world language classroom and we are looking for submissions from NHAWLT member teachers. If you are interested please see below and follow the instructions to submit your game/activity. All submissions should be written in English, but may include examples from any language. Submissions will be peer reviewed and selected according to their originality; grammatical, literary, or cultural relevance; clarity; and ease of implementation. Submissions are encouraged from single or multiple authors, but will be limited to one submission per author/s. Submissions should be in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman 12, 1.5 line spacing, one page max. We value and appreciate your input! 

-Your name and school and contact information (email, phone, and address)
-Activity title
-Target language
-Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
-Theme or topic (art, music, speaking, writing, geography, verbs, holidays, etc.)
-Instructions/Descriptions
-Examples (in target language)
-Optional diagram or image
